The Boston Celtics won again. Now one game left to claim their NBA world championship titles (Funny American called themselves world champions XD) It's sad to watch the Lakers crumbled except for Kobe Bryant, who singlehandedly fought 5 opponents during the third quarter, drenched 19 points himself. The confidence in his eyes when he pulled up every jumper. The anguish look, disappointed with the lack of help from the other teammates. How many nights do you lose the game, go back to the gym and sweat yourself blood, come back to the next game and give all you got, and lose it all again. Just how many nights can you endure it? I most probably give up after a couple of nights. He made through it for years.

Watching the game played by big names (Garnett, Pierce, Allen, Bryant), I just can't help but look back at where they came from. No doubt they're popular, but being popular for nothing is out of question. Just like playing DotA, there are creeps, there are heroes. These guys are heroes, who entered the league fresh, who been through the lowest point in their pro basketball life, and bounced back to the glory. Garnett established himself as a prominent high school star, entered the league finding himself lack of the physique to compete, and hence added bulks to fortify his game. Pierce, frustrated with Boston's roster which suffered one of the worse records in the team's history, stayed on the team and fought till today. Allen, traded from the Bucks to Supersonics, been through countless loses. Bryant, though shines during the stay of Shaq, was hammered with defeat after defeat. Sometimes I just think it's not that his teammates are incompetent, but that he is too much for them to contain.

Now that world cup fever is on, I managed to catch a few games. Fifa website provides a comprehensive information and insights, but I just love it for that I could not wake up during the 2.30am game. Cheers!
