Things are just like what I saw in the movies, albeit the number of people around are more. Stores suffered from the flood are trying to sell out their soaked stocks by cutting price significantly. Residents are piling up their damaged furnitures along the road side. If allowed, I guess they'd rather open up their roofs to allow sunlight to enter the damp house.

The hostels are quiet. Birds flew past the windows. Crickets singing. Nobody's home. All deserted. Cafe and mini market well-shut. Occasionally a few faint laughter can be heard from afar. Door banging sound is often. It's too quiet to inhabit, but that's how things are. Few hours ago, I received the email notification of UUM calendar. It was a devastating news. Calculated damage amounted to 3,000MYR and possible of 1 yr delayed in graduation date. Shocking how this decision is made without the consent of the students. Heard that somewhere in campus there are male officers spot checking the girls dorm during midnight. It should be frightening to hear knocking and found out that two huge guys shown themselves behind the door. Terrible decision. Said wanted to check if rice cookers are used, well, in such critical time where food is scarce, I doubt that it could be a wise decision.

Today's post is up to here. Hopefully tonight could be a good night. Every night I hope the same thing. I trusted this place where it hurts me over and over again and I still persist. But this time, the damage is unbearable. Felt deeply betrayed by the system which is supposed to protect us.
