Being human

Sometimes we forgot that what consists of a human.

A human, while given spectacular brain, is still an organism. Which means we can feel pain, hunger, and eventually, death.

So many times we feel that we are larger than life. Like how we felt at that instant was the whole truth and reality. But that makes us more human. Because human is arrogant. We tend to think more for ourselves and less about the real world.

Thanks to the Internet, we are building up our virtual selves. However, that only secludes us from the real world. The real world, some described it as an evil place. Some described it as a playground for life. Some thought that our lives are all that matters. And that only makes us more human, for human is arrogant.

We, like all organisms, can die. And when we die, that doesn't makes us any special. The nature is still moving on. Some people may grieve over our death, but later they also move on. So what makes us think that we are any special forever? Human is really arrogant.

But when we realize we are indeed NOT nothing, but NEGLIGIBLE, we do not have to feel so stressed out or proud. We are livings that live to satisfy our lives. Then we will leave this place. So, whatever we do, at least realize that, we are not as important as we think we are. Nor we are less important than what we already are.

We are human. Life and death between us. Every breath between us.
