Dying.
We are born to die
Once in a lifetime, everybody is going to die, someday and somewhere. Until today, there has not been a publicized method to escape death. Immortality only appears in folktales and the best science can serve mankind is to prolong out breath. Religious-wise, everyone's soul will end up differently, although a common understanding is that there are two different eternals, heaven and hell. Nobody is alive enough to prove afterlife, though. So, what leaves us here today is simply The Road to Death.
No secrets cannot be told except dying. Nobody can tell you how they will end up after death, at least factually. And you cannot share dying with anybody, it can only be experienced by you alone. One can aid you in the process, but you have to die yourself. Macabre, very.
But have you heard of resurrection? Waking from the death? Sure you heard it once a while somewhere, be it from a non-fiction novel, uncommon encounters, religious stories, and etc. You hear people raise up and continue from their last breath. But apart from what you see, I'm gonna challenge you with a question I ponder for a while:
What changes do I expect on myself if I can somehow wake up a second life?
You know, it interests me that some people are actually given a second life, of course indirectly. They're hit hard of a painful situation, and left in a situation no difference from death. And yet they arise and claim a life once again (normally struggles occurred in between). So, what do you think of the difference in the second chance?
Sometimes life has a second chance. Some people appreciate it and finally achieve something meaningful. Some people still stay the same. What about you, if you were given a second chance? Do you have anything you wanted to do so much that you don't want to die regretting? It's something personal, so you cannot be bothered by the Earthly standards saying that you must do this or do that (usually the lists goes like caring for your loved ones, pursuing an ambitions, etc...) What you really wanted is only matter to you, and nobody can tell you what you should be. If dying is personal, living again is even so. You surely don't want to waste your chance once more, and knowing that you are uncertain of how much time left before you're surely dying, I believe you to be clear of yourself.
People say stress makes people perform better. I believe so. When you are not sure how much breath left, you will be focused on your wishes and not letting anything stopping you. That's something I started to look at and appreciate. Not everyone can wake up after death, but surely everyone can adopt that mentality.
Time is short, what are you gonna do?
