The King and the Ring

There was a king, who inherited his throne when he was young.
He was so afraid of failure.
For that, he seldom face problems bcz he didn't dare to deal with them.
So he always try to make himself happy.
He made parties, he declared holidays even for the smallest matter.
And he spent too much. The country earned too little.
Soon, the economy became bad.
He didn't know what to do.
He was scared, so scared that he fell sick.

Then, one day,
A minister came to him.
The minister presented to him a ring.
He said to the king:

My king, this is the ring we present to you.
Please wear it.

It was a pleasant looking gold ring.
He wore it. There were words carved on it.

This also will past.

The king suddenly realized something.
He said to the minister,

Tell me, my good minister,
What should i do?

The minister replied,
Your highness,
Anything happy, anything sad,
They will go.
They will past.
Don't be scared of what has happened, don't be worried of what might come.
They also will past.

The king rose up from bed.
His illness went away.
With a faint smile,
and a lot of confidence,
He thanks the minister,
And then he calls upon His men.

Yes, your guess is right.
The country becomes strong once again.
But the king holds lesser parties, grieves lesser,
because He knows,
This also will past.

I cannot help but remember this story in my mind.
I quoted this story before, but I love it and I typed it again.
It may mean something to you, some day in your life too.
